WILLIAMS, DUNCAN, HAGER in Cannon and Wilson Counties, TN
In Cannon Co. Chancery Court Records 1840-1880:
Elizabeth Williams that I could find is for Betsy Ann Williams in an estate settlement of John Petty dated April 1860.
In Land Deed Genealogy of Cannon Co. TN 1836-1857
There is a mention of Elizabeth C. Smith, formerly Williams dated Sep 1853.
There are a couple of deeds for William D.B. Duncan dated 1856 and 1857 in this book as well.
There is a divorce record in Wilson Co. TN Chancery Court Records,
Harriet A. Hager versus John J. Hager. Bill for divorce. The marriage was much against the wishes of her father, William Duncan. The said John J. Hager is much addicted to gambling and drinking. He has been seen playing cards and drinking with a negro in a cornfield. She has a child, George F. Hager who has been seized by the said John J. Hager. The said Harriet A. is seeking return of the child who may be in Smith or Rutherford Counties. 6 Sep 1841. (P.29-32)In
